USPlabs BCAA Supreme is an 8:1:1 BCAA powder: a 15g aminos blend led by leucine, plus a 654mg electrolyte blend, in a 2-scoop serving, with 30 servings per tub. The blend pairs leucine, isoleucine and valine with L-alanine, taurine, glycine, L-lysine and Sustamine (L-alanyl-L-glutamine), and is built to sip during training to support recovery and hydration.† It is stimulant free. Individual amino acid doses inside the 15g blend are not disclosed. Flavors at Get Yok'd: Raspberry Lemonade, Rocket Pop and Watermelon. Where BCAA Supreme Fits

BCAA Supreme is an intra-workout drink: something to sip across a long session to keep aminos and electrolytes coming in.† The 8:1:1 ratio puts far more leucine in each serving than the standard 2:1:1 formulas. The added electrolytes make it useful on hot days, two-a-days and leg days. It does not replace protein from food or a shake, but it is an easy way to flavor your water and support recovery from training.†

8:1:1 BCAA+ Blend 15g

Leucine, isoleucine and valine are the three branched-chain amino acids, and leucine is the one most studied for its role in signaling muscle protein synthesis.† An 8:1:1 ratio weights the blend heavily toward leucine. Sustamine is a dipeptide of alanine and glutamine, and taurine and glycine round out the blend. The exact split of these ingredients inside the 15g is not disclosed.†

Electrolyte Blend 654mg

Sodium citrate and potassium chloride replace some of what you lose in sweat.† Each serving gives 120mg of sodium and 100mg of potassium. That is a light electrolyte dose, enough to support hydration during a normal session.† Heavy sweaters in long sessions may need more from food or a dedicated hydration product.†

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What does 8:1:1 mean?
It is the ratio of leucine to isoleucine to valine. For every 8 parts leucine there is 1 part isoleucine and 1 part valine. Most BCAA products use 2:1:1. USPlabs does not publish the exact gram amounts inside the 15g blend, so the ratio is the main guide.†
  2. Does it have caffeine?
No caffeine or other stimulants are listed. That makes it fine for evening training and for stacking with your pre-workout. Check the label on your tub if you are sensitive to any of the other ingredients.†
  3. Why does it foam?
High-leucine powders tend to foam when shaken, and USPlabs notes this on the product. Using the full 20 oz of water helps. Letting it settle for a moment after shaking also helps. The foam does not change the formula.†
  4. Can I take more than one serving?
USPlabs suggests one serving during training, with an additional serving after training or whenever you want more aminos. Don't go past what the label allows. Whole food and protein shakes should still be your main protein source.†

How to Take USPlabs BCAA Supreme

Mix 2 scoops in 20 oz of water and shake for 30 seconds, then sip during your workout. A second serving can be taken after training or between meals. It stacks with pre-workout, creatine and protein. Intended for healthy adults 18 and older. If you are pregnant, nursing, take medication or have a medical condition, see a physician before use.
