EAAs, BCAAs, glutamine, citrulline, beta-alanine, taurine, carnitine and single-ingredient aminos. Whether you want a full intra-workout formula or a raw powder to build your own stack, it's here.
EAAs or BCAAs
This is the question we get most. BCAAs give you three of the nine essential amino acids: leucine, isoleucine and valine. EAAs give you all nine, BCAAs included. If you're choosing one, most people are better off with EAAs. BCAAs still make sense if you already eat plenty of protein and just want a flavored drink during training.
What's in This Collection
- EAAs: all nine essential amino acids.
- BCAAs: leucine, isoleucine and valine, usually in a 2:1:1 ratio.
- L-Glutamine: a popular recovery add-on, usually unflavored.
- L-Citrulline: the main ingredient in most pump formulas.
- Beta-Alanine: an endurance ingredient taken daily. The tingle is harmless.
- Taurine: common in pre-workouts and energy drinks.
- L-Carnitine and ALCAR: liquid, powder and capsule options.
- L-Tyrosine: a staple in focus formulas.
Do You Even Need Them?
Straight answer: if you already hit your daily protein target, you're getting these aminos from food. Amino supplements earn their place for flavor that gets you drinking water during a session, for fasted training, and for single ingredients like citrulline or beta-alanine at amounts food won't give you.
