Obsidian Ammonia - Bar Down

Obsidian Ammonia Bar Down is a menthol smelling salt in a 60cc bottle. The ammonia is held in a super-absorbent polymer, which cuts down on spills and helps the bottle last longer, and menthol adds a cold, spicy kick on top. Lifters use smelling salts for a sharp jolt of alertness right before a heavy set. The brand calls it a close relative of its Nose Bleach salt and says plainly that it is not for beginners.

How to Use Safely

• Uncap and hold the bottle several inches below your nose. Never put it in or against your nostrils.
• Take a short, light sniff. Start farther away than you think you need to.
• Don't use it if you have asthma, another breathing condition, a heart condition or high blood pressure, or if you're pregnant.
• Never use it to push through dizziness, a head knock or a suspected concussion. It can mask symptoms that need medical attention.
• Keep it away from eyes. If it gets in your eyes or on skin, rinse with water and get medical help if irritation continues.
• Adults only. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Care

Cap it tight right after every use and store it upright somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight. A loose cap means a weaker bottle and a gym bag nobody wants to open.
