David's protein blend has a perfect 1.0 protein digestibility-corrected amino acid score (PDCAAS) to optimally support both muscle building and bodily functions (including skin, hair, and nail health).
David’s Binding System:
These ingredients bind the bar together. Without these, the bar would just be protein powder.
- Maltitol and Allulose provide binding as well as sweetness without any blood sugar spikes and minimal calories (each containing fewer calories per gram than traditional carbohydrates).
- Glycerin, Tapioca Starch, and Soy Lecithin are used in small quantities to help the bar stay soft and moist over time.
David’s Fat System:
Fat contains 9 calories per gram compared to 4 calories per gram for both protein and carbohydrates. This makes it essential to reduce fat calories in order to craft the product with the most protein for the fewest calories.
